How much does Family Deck of Cards cost?
Your first month is free, with no card required. After that it is a one-time payment of $29.99 — no subscription and no recurring charges. It gives you a license code that works on 2 devices, and everything is included.
Do I need to create an account or log in?
No. There is no login. You can build a deck and play right away.
Are my photos uploaded anywhere?
No. Your photos, names, and stories stay on your own phone, tablet, or computer. They are never uploaded to our servers, and there are no ads.
Does the app use AI?
No AI unless you turn on AI OK. With AI off, the app works fully offline. AI OK is off by default. If you turn it on, you can use "Polish with AI": AI polish uses the internet. Your story text is sent to an AI service to smooth the wording, then deleted. It is never saved. Photos and voice recordings are never sent.
Which phones and devices does it work on?
It works in any modern web browser on iPhone, iPad, Android phones and tablets, and computers. You can also add it to your home screen to use it like an app, even offline.

Can this app treat or prevent dementia?
No. Family Deck of Cards supports memory, connection, and reminiscence. It does not treat, prevent, or improve dementia or Alzheimer's disease.
How do I move my deck to a new phone?
Use Export on the My Deck page to save a backup file, then Import it on the new device.
